Thank you everyone for all the kind words. When it comes down to it, I really believe that Jenni and I will be wonderful parents. I can hardly wait until he’s old enough to go to concerts together, play catch and go to baseball games, listen to Frank Zappa records…..hehe. Okay, maybe we’ll wait a bit for Frank. 
Slept too late today…hopefully I didn’t miss the trash pickup…got too many bags of grass clippings and their all nasty and wet. God, I hope I don’t have to hold on to them until next week.
This will be my sixth day of work in a row, and they haven’t been fun. Most of the time I’ve been up front running the front end. It’s especially enjoyable when the boss is hyperventilated about labor and the schedule is cut real thin. Nothing like trying to please all the customers without enough help. I love mixed messages like that. Imagine a football coach whose general manager says, “We had to cut payroll so you can only field nine players today. Make sure to go out there and win!.” Fuck off, dimwit.
But, I do have the next two days off, so all will be well today.
The Frank Zappa is definitely going to have to wait a bit. No need instilling those rebellious values any earlier then they already are. =)

wet, warm, bagged grass clippings! take them away, PLEASE. that has to be some sort of bio-hazard. you have a baby in the house for crying out loud! lol.
sounds like you are doing great! congrats again. ahhh, those were the days! just wait ’till you get your first good sniff of baby scalp….nothing better in the world than the sweet aroma of clean baby scalp! ok…you’ll see!
