West Nile still…
Yeah, still got the ol’ West Nile Virus thing. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night in a lot of pain. Took 1200 mg of ibuprofen and it hardly even touched it….just enough to get to sleep. I have to be honest and say that I’m a bit worried. My glands are so big, I’ve had thoughts that maybe it’s not my glands that are swollen. Maybe it’s an alien growing inside me that will sprout out of my neck at the appropriately suspenseful time and scare the bejeezus out of my beloved. Or maybe it’s a tumor. Sorry to say that last one isn’t a joke, I’m scared.
Hopefully the antibiotics will kick it for me, otherwise I’m going to have to go to the doctor tomorrow. This thing is wicked.

Oh great! Now he has the West Nile and the Mumps??? Now I’m going to have to pack up my stuff and head for the hills!

Me, I’m a wimp. I go to the doctor at the slightest sniffle. and he usually tells me “We don’t treat colds”. *grin*

Yeah, I’m finally feeling better now. Took myself a Z-Pac or whatever they call ‘em. I guess it’s the new antibiotic wonder drug or sumptin. First time I’ve taken antibiotics for probably ten years. But I have to say they kick serious ass on whatever was kicking my ass.
I’m doing much better, thank you.
