What am I doing…..?
Just got done with three days off. I love time off. I mean I really looooovvvve time off. Jenni and I did some work on our backyard…and the front, too. We made a little sandbox for Jakob, with his little swingset in the middle of it. He just loves playing in the sand. Then we made a bed out back around our birch tree and it looks fantastic. Re-did the front bed, too. Looking pretty sweet around here right now.
I really love working out in the yard….except when the wife changes her mind and wants me to move something. When I hit the lottery, I’m just going to putter around the yard all day and take it easy.
But, then reality hits and I had to go to work yesterday. A day in work Hell. Crabby, bitchy customers. Understaffed, with call-ins and no-shows on top. And a guy I’m working with who doesn’t know how to get his shit done in a timely manner. By the end of the night, I was wearing a quarter bottle of laundry detergent, wondering what in the hell I’m doing in this job. I hate it. I mean, I really really hate it. I’m vastly under-utilized and under-appreciated. I work for a fucking idiot I despise and he has a couple of underlings that are freakin’ winners, too. There are days I feel like Nicholas Cage’s character in Bringing Out The Dead. “You told me if I was late again you’d fire me.” Please fire me, because obviously I’m too much of a chickenshit to quit on my own….
It’s time to go
i can relate to the job situation. i struggled for four years to finally find work that would allow me to excell and fel good about what i am doing. i wish you the best. thinking of a change, yet?

AY! We only re-did the front yard 3 times. That’s not bad. You do amazing work in the yard babe. You really do. I still can’t believe how good the backyard turned out.
And I’ve told you before that you need to find another job. You know that We’ll support you no matter what happens.
:-)
