Molly Ivins at talks about the torture that we’re inflicting on our “detainees” down in Cuba. You remember….the ones that don’t have access to lawyers or anything really. And they haven’t cracked after three years so we still have to torture them until they tell us what they know. I’m sure they have all this great intelligence to give us even though they’ve been locked up for three years now. And I’m sure they all had a lot to do with 9-11, so I guess we can torture them, right?

So, I was just curious…..how much longer can we do whatever we want in this world? How much of a grace period do we have where we can kill and torture and “conquer” sovereign countries? I’m not really up on these things and am curious. Is it a time limit or is their a particular body count? I mean, we’re over 100,000 civilians killed now….how many more can we slaughter. Just curious…..
