God, I can hardly wait for school break to be over. Maybe I’ll get some time to myself again….

I think one of the funniest commercials I ever saw was for Staples, I think. It came out in the summer and the song that played was the Christmas song that goes, “…it’s the most wonderful time of the year…” I looked at the television and thought, “What the hell are they playing Christmas music for?” The screen showed two kids looking up very sadly at a huge school supply display. The camera pans back and shows their father cruising by riding a shopping cart with a huge smile on his face, obviously very happy that school was starting again soon. Hilarious, and I didn’t have kids then.
