Wife here. I just implemented the Trencaspammer script that is all the rage right now. From now on, in order to leave your comment on this site, you will have to enter the little code you see. This, along with WP’s built-in comment moderation should take care of comment spam forever. At least the automated comment spam. As far as WP Blacklist, I never could figure out what good it did. Go figure.
