I love this song.

I don’t know about you but I love this song: In Your Constellation

It’s a Maria McKee song. For those of you who aren’t familiar with her, she used to be the lead singer and main songwriter for Lone Justice. This song is off of her High Dive album that came out a couple years ago. Most excellent song. Great guitar and bass. I adore the backing vocal arrangement on the chorus. It never fails to stand the hair up on my neck. Hopefully, I won’t get in trouble for putting this up on my blog, but then who reads my blog anyway?

This is just one of the best pop/rock songs I’ve heard in the last ten years. Top ten off the top of my head….

It comes so easily to you
And I’m fighting my way through
What you are, what you see
Finding life among the weeds
And I’m face-down in the dirt

It comes so easily to you
And I’ve got so much to prove
What you see, what you are
Take your seat among the stars
And you make me feel alright

When the floodgates open wide
I wonder what creeps back inside
I’m a stranger in the intimate dimension

When my feelings get in touch
What happens if I feel too much
And I’m strung out, hung up
In your constellation

It comes so easily to you
And I’ve got so much to prove
What you see, what you are
Take your seat among the stars
And you make me feel alright

When the floodgates open wide
I wonder what creeps back inside
I’m a stranger in the intimate dimension

When my feelings get in touch
What happens if I feel too much
And I’m strung out, hung up
In your constellation

Ooh, it comes so easily to you
